The A017 fitting is a base support cast into concrete which is flush to the finished ground level. The 48.3mm upright is held in place using the grubscrew but can easily be removed without leaving any obstructions. 

 It is recommended that the minimum size casting hole is 300mm x 300mm x 300mm
